We're recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded independent optical practice in Bookham for a full-time Optical Assistant to join their friendly, patient-focused team.

The Role
As an Optical Assistant, you'll play a key role in delivering a smooth, reassuring, and high-quality patient journey.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming patients and guiding them through their visit
* Supporting dispensing, including frame and lens selection
* Pre-screening and supporting clinics
* Adjustments, repairs, and collections
* Supporting the day-to-day running of the practice
* Delivering consistently high standards of customer care
About You
This role would suit someone who:
* Has previous experience working as an Optical Assistant
* Is confident, warm, and professional with patients
* Takes pride in delivering excellent service
* Enjoys working in a community-focused, independent environment
