About the Role
Our Children in Care Team oversees all children in care across Northamptonshire, including those subject to legal proceedings and those with long-term care plans. We focus on building meaningful relationships with young people, their families, and carers to ensure effective planning for every child's future.
This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where you'll:
* Conduct clear, accurate assessments.
* Coordinate multi-agency approaches.
* Build positive, strength-based relationships.
* Attend court confidently and independently when required.
Responsibilities
* Qualified, registered Social Worker with completed ASYE.
* Experienced in court work and confident attending hearings independently.
* Passionate about delivering best practice and supporting children, young people, and families.
* Strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships.
* Skilled in analysis and decision-making to deliver purposeful social care.
