We are on the lookout for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic General Manager at Seamill Hydro Hotel & Resort. The successful applicant must be an experienced Operations Manager or General Manager who can inspire, lead and develop a fantastic team of hospitality professionals in delivering excellent guest experiences. We take pride in looking after both our team and our guests, and your role will be critical in delivering this across the hotel.
The venue boasts stunning purpose built and recently renovated function facilities with unique views of the Ayrshire coast and Arran, 86 bedrooms, two restaurants, a leisure club and exciting development plans. The ideal General Manager will lead from the front and this will include being operational in all F&B areas. As part of the RAD Hotel Group, you will benefit from support services at our Head Office and who can help resolve any problems or challenges you face.
You'll be responsible for:
* Effective management of rotas, employee relations issues and recruitment
* Accountable for developing a successful team and succession planning
* Ensuring all managaers and team members are trained to appropraite standard
* Ensuring the hotel is meeting and exceeding our guests expectations
* Ensuring any issues in the hotel are effectively resolved
* Ensuring the business is hitting targets in labour, revenue, GP's and other KPI's
* Being the host and figurehead of the venue, supporting the smooth running of the operation
* Leading from the front and having a hands-on approach
* A focus on maximising revenue and profitability whilst ensuring the highest possible level of the guest experience
What you'll need.
* Previous experience at General Manager or Operations Manager level within a 3 or 4 star property
* In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry
* Excellent communication skills and exceptional leadership
* Proven track record in recruitment and developing a team
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Demonstrate a track record of managing a successful operation in the hospitality sector

Pay: £50,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
