Hays is seeking to recruit an experienced grounds maintenance operative for HMP Garth.
Your new role
As part of the Works/Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for gardening maintenance tasks throughout the prison, including grass cutting, weeding, spraying, litter picking, pruning, hedge cutting, etc. You will also assist with the safety and security of the establishment, which includes duties such as escorting visitors, building contractors, gate duties within the prison, and outside areas. Your role is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of visitors, staff, and prisoners, and preventing unauthorized persons or items from entering the premises.
