EdEx are working with multiple high-achieving Secondary Schools who are on the hunt for a Head of English for a September 2026 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract.
The Head Teacher is looking for a high-performing Head of English who can not only deliver strong classroom practice, but also drive improvement across the wider school. This role comes with genuine middle leadership responsibility and is perfect for a teacher ready to step up or an experienced teacher keen for a fresh challenge.

Person Specification
* Must have UK QTS
* Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
* A proven track record of strong teaching and raising attainment
* Must be ready to lead staff, model best practice and drive improvement
* Must be willing to listen to feedback and work closely with SLT
