An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housing Revenues Officer to join a well-established Housing Association near Glasgow. This role will play a key part in delivering an effective ie management service, supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies while maximising rental ie.
Your new role
1. Manage a designated patch of rent accounts, ensuring timely collection of rental ie
2. Proactively manage arrears through early intervention, payment arrangements, and tenant engagement
3. Provide advice and support to tenants in relation to rent payments, benefits, and financial inclusion
4. Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to support vulnerable tenants and sustain tenancies
5. Take appropriate recovery action in line with policy, including issuing legal notices and preparing court documentation.
6. Monitor accounts and maintain accurate records using housing management systems
7. Support continuous improvement of ie management processes and performance targets
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience in a housing ie/revenues role within a housing association or local authority
9. Strong knowledge of rent arrears management, welfare benefits, and tenancy sustainment
10. Excellentmunication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with tenants
11. Experience working in a target-driven environment and managingpeting priorities
12. Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
13. Strong IT skills and experience using housing management systems
