Overview Join our dynamic team at Strata Solicitors, as a Deputy Claims Manager (Defence), based in our beautiful office at Blisworth Hill Farm. In this pivotal role, you will handle a select portfolio of pre-litigated files within our corporate client motor claims handling team. You will be at the forefront of resolving claims related to personal injury, motor, and property losses, while providing crucial operational and technical support to the Claims Manager. How you'll make an impact Claims Handling:

Maintain a high-standard, reduced claims portfolio and assess liability in line with client service agreements Investigate third-party claims thoroughly and negotiate settlements swiftly via phone and correspondence Proactively manage third-party hire and repair processes, coordinating with repair, hire, and investigation partners Utilise injury portals effectively and evaluate General and Special Damages in third-party personal injury claims

Team and Service Delivery:

Serve as a technical and procedural advisor for claims handlers, coordinating FNOL allocation and data integrity Ensure team compliance with protocols and consistency across accounts, handling supplier payment requests Conduct probationary reviews and mentor junior team members, providing internal and client reporting Attend client meetings as needed, support the Claims Manager, and contribute to team welfare and personnel matters

About You Motor claims handling experience within a legal, insurance, or claims management environment, covering pre-litigated claims Self-motivated, strong initiative, ability to work independently, excellent communication skills, and flexibility to handle unexpected situations
