Project EngineerLocation: Ashby de la zouch, UK (Hybrid/Office & Site-Based)Outisde IR35Contract Duration: 12 monthsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of rail infrastructure and technology projects. This role will work closely with the Lead Project Engineer and multidisciplinary teams to ensure engineering activities are effectively coordinated and delivered to programme, quality, and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Lead Project Engineer in the day-to-day coordination of engineering activities across the project lifecycleManage and maintain the Technical Query (TQ) register, ensuring timely responses and closure of engineering queriesCoordinate the production of design deliverables across multiple engineering disciplines (e.g., passenger information systems, communications, control systems)Maintain the engineering deliverables register, tracking submission status and ensuring milestones are metFacilitate design review meetings, capturing actions and following through to completionSupport document and drawing control, ensuring revisions are managed in line with project and company proceduresContribute to weekly and monthly engineering progress reports, providing accurate and timely updatesAssist in procurement activities, including technical evaluations and vendor document reviewsAbout YouExperience in a project engineering or coordination role, ideally within the rail or infrastructure sectorStrong organisational and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with engineering document control processes and design assuranceAbility to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills, with the ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams and suppliersDesirableExperience within rail systems such as communications, control, or passenger information systemsKnowledge of industry standards and engineering lifecycle processes within rail or similar regulated environmentsWhy Join UsWork on innovative, high-impact rail projects that shape future transport networksBe part of a collaborative, forward-thinking engineering teamOpportunities for career development and progression within a global organisationAll PPE provided by the client and Health and Safety explained before and on site.Rullion supports applications from a diverse talent pool.
