* You’ll respond proactively to alarms, minimizing service outages.
* You’ll perform necessary actions promptly to restore service during degradation or outages.
* You’ll escalate incidents as per procedures and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* You’ll conduct regular checks on systems and services to ensure reliability.
* You’ll monitor distress traffic and act immediately if needed.
* You’ll identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
* You’ll contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting ideas and creating efficient operational and technical processes.
* You’ll support, coach, and train other engineers and teams.
* Good understanding of satellite communication networks, systems, and propagation.
* Knowledge of VSAT, Ka-band, L Band, and C bands.
* Familiarity with digital communication networks, protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, routing), and architecture (routers, switches, firewalls).
