As Junior Sous Chef at Hawksmoor, you’ll play a key leadership role in the kitchen, supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver exceptional food and strong team performance. This is a hands‑on position where you’ll lead sections, drive standards and help develop junior chefs, while continuing to grow your own leadership and commercial skills.
What You’ll Do
* Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in running daily kitchen operations
* Lead services and manage sections during busy shifts
* Coach and develop Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs
* Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency and presentation
* Ensure strong food safety, organisation and stock control
* Contribute to menu development and operational improvements
Who You Are
* Experienced as a strong Senior Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie ready to step up
* Confident leading a team during service
* Organised, calm and solutions-focused
* Passionate about high-quality produce and open‑fire cooking
* A supportive leader who enjoys developing others
* Commercially aware and eager to progress within a professional kitchen
