Skilled Careers is currently recruiting for a Repairs Manager on a Temp/permbasis to lead the operational delivery of responsive repairs, ensuring high performance, customer satisfaction, and safe working practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the delivery of a customer-focused in-house repairs service, supported by subcontractors where required.
* Provide effective leadership, supervision, performance management, and development for team leaders and engineers.
* Drive operational, commercial, and financial performance, ensuring targets, KPIs and budgets are met.
* Maintain full oversight of repairs operations, including scheduling, resource planning, inspections, and technical support.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legislative requirements.
* Coordinate repairs quality assurance, including pre- and post-inspections and certification of relevant works.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, customer representatives, and external partners to continuously enhance service standards.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in managing repairs or maintenance operations (housing or similar environment desirable)
* Full UK Driving Licence
