The Estimator is to work alongside both our clients and internal support teams to ensure the estimates are accurate and profitable for clients. Branch opening hours are: Mon - Thurs 06.30 - 17.00 Fri 06.30 - 16.00 S at 08.00 - 12.00 and we are flexible to consider a variety of working hours/patterns to suit your needs! WHAT WILL I BE DOING: To be able to create estimates and pricing proposals using internal Core pricing programmes - Raptor & Lite (and where necessary revise as required) Ability to manage estimating for; Extension, Renovation, Loft Conversion, New Build (Standard) Barn Conversion. To liaise with customers, service team, Sales teams and local branch teams demonstrating a high level of networking and communication skills. To liaise with external suppliers for technical support To be responsive to technical onsite queries and support efficiently responding to issues arising from site amending estimates through to build reports and process. To be responsive to administrative and queries relating to estimating, amendments and scheduling of materials. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU: Construction technical experience within previous job roles Basic Knowledge of Build Regulations Experience of reading / understanding architectural drawing / structural specifications Experience of Microsoft Office package (Outlook / Access / Word / Excel predominantly Excellent communicator both internally and externally, written and verbal Able to work under own initiative Organised and able to manage own workload Preferred not essential AC grade in English and Maths at GCSE level or similar
