We’re working with a high-profile organisation to recruit a Finance Analyst into their finance team on a fixed-term basis, with the potential to go permanent. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality management reporting, supporting decision-making across a diverse operational environment, and driving improvements in reporting processes and systems.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the production of monthly management accounts, including journals, analysis, and reporting
* Owning and improving shared accounting processes across multiple business areas
* Acting as a key point of contact for reporting tools (including Power BI), supporting stakeholders and maintaining governance over reporting outputs
* Performing reconciliations and ensuring strong financial control processes
* Identifying opportunities to automate and improve reporting processes
* Partnering with operational teams, providing financial insight and support
* Deputising for senior team members in meetings where required
* Driving consistency and best practice across reporting and processes
* Taking ownership of end-to-end accounting for smaller business areas
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with a proactive, analytical mindset.
You will ideally have:
* A professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA), or be close to completion
* Experience working in a management accounting or reporting-focused role
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work with non-finance teams
* A track record of improving processes and enhancing reporting quality
* Experience supporting systems or business change initiatives
* Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools (desirable, not essential)
* A naturally inquisitive and analytical approach
