HGV Technician (Level 3 Qualified)
Location: Glasgow
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: £17.50 per hour + Overtime
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Level 3 Qualified LGV Technician to join a leading commercial vehicle operation in Glasgow. Working within a busy workshop environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles are maintained, serviced, and repaired to the highest standards.

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 07:30 17:30
- Overtime available as required
The Role
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing LGVs and commercial vehicles
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections
- Ensuring compliance with operator licence regulations
- Maintaining accurate workshop records and documentation
- Working effectively within a busy workshop team
Requirements
- Level 3 NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Previous experience within the commercial vehicle repair industry
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- HGV Driving Licence
- IRTEC Accreditation
- Completed apprenticeship in vehicle maintenance and repair
