The Role This is an engineering-led automation role sitting within a QA function responsible for building and maintaining robust automated test frameworks across a modern platform. You will work with Playwright and TypeScript to enhance, extend, and maintain the automation framework, ensuring quality and reliability across the product suite. This is not a manual QA position. Technical depth and hands-on coding capability are required, and you will be expected to contribute to an existing framework from the outset with minimal ramp-up time. What You'll Be Doing Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright Write automation scripts in TypeScript to a high standard Contribute to and extend an existing automation framework Support CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure test coverage across new features Identify gaps in automation coverage and drive improvements to framework structure What You'll Bring Essential Strong commercial experience in test automation Proven, hands-on experience with Playwright Strong TypeScript capability Solid understanding of automated testing principles and framework design Able to operate effectively in a dedicated QA and test automation capacity Nice to Have Development or full stack background Engineers transitioning from software development into automation will be considered, provided they are genuinely committed to a QA-focused career path.
