Robert Half are working with a growing global corporate who are looking for a Service Desk Engineer on a permanent basis as they look to enhance their IT Operations function.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for providing support for all IT services in line with agreed Service Level Agreements
2. Processing and coordinating timely responses to tickets and keeping customers appraised of progress to achieve resolution within agreed service levels
3. Provide desk-side support to all employees in the Support Operations Centre
4. Ensuring all tickets are logged and data captured in full and correctly
Troubleshooting IT related issues from software to hardware, such as mobile phones, desk phones, laptops, PCs and printers
5. Create a positive impression of the Service Desk by building a rapport with customers, focussing on business needs and delivering best possible customer service
Experience/skills:
6. Knowledge of MS Client operating systems
7. Knowledge of ticket management
8. Software licensing
9. Hardware management
10. Basic understanding of ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, WAN and VPN technologies.
11. Exposure to remote support software
12. Email and other productivity tools such as MS Office 365, Office 2016, Office 2010, SharePoint
Salary/Package:
13. £27,000 - £29,000 basic salary
14. Annual bonus scheme
15. Progression pathways on offer into leadership or infrastructure teams
16. Hybrid working on offer post-probation (2-3 days on site)
