Job Title: HGV Technician Location: Reading Salary: Up to £60,000 per year Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shifts About the Role: We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team in Reading. You will be carrying out maintenance, inspections, servicing, and repairs on a range of heavy goods vehicles to a high standard, ensuring safety and reliability at all times. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and MOT preparation on HGVs. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently. Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with DVSA standards. Accurately complete job cards, service sheets, and maintain detailed records. Work independently and as part of a team to meet workshop targets.Requirements: Level 3 qualification in HGV or PSV maintenance (or equivalent). Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work to deadlines with attention to detail.
