A global player and manufacturer in the fasteners industry is currently looking for a commercial and progressive Procurement Manager, ideally with experience in the automotive industry to spearhead, modernise and invigorate the purchasing function of an established growing business.
£90,000 - £110,000 depending on experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The primary focus of this Procurement Manager role is to assist with the Purchase to Purchase relationship with major UK Blue chip clients and to implement and manage a new procurement strategy for the UK business.
* Develop and oversee 4 existing purchasing staff across this global business. We want this team to grow exponentially in the coming 3-5 years.
* Manage all direct and indirect procurement for the business.
* Oversee a total UK spend of £150 million+.
* Review and implement new SLAs for the business and its suppliers and KPI's for the staff.
* Assess how to get best value out of the current procurement relationships (Apply online only)) and where needed, increase/rationalise supplier portfolio.
This is a genuine opportunity to have input into changing a procurement platform in a large and established business and will require a candidate who is strong‑willed and confident in their approach with experience in similar change and growth.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideally, you will be a qualified procurement specialist holding either CIPs / MCIPs or the equivalent and have some direct working experience in the automotive industry.
