Role Outline
The Group Accountant will contribute to the preparation and submission of statutory accounts for over 20 entities across multiple jurisdictions within EMEA, facilitate audits, and support the month-end process to ensure accurate reporting to our U.S. counterparts within deadlines.

Core Responsibilities
* Coordinate with departments for external audits, providing necessary deliverables and incorporating recommendations.
* Prepare and submit FRS101 financial statements for UK entities and assist with Group consolidated statements.
* Liaise with external accountants to meet submission deadlines and adhere to local GAAP.
* Review intercompany differences and revenue/expense eliminations.
* Support US counterparts with annual audit financials.
* Calculate and post quarterly interest on intercompany balances.
* Assist the bid team and maintain SharePoint.
* Liaise with the Sustainability Reporting Specialist for financials related to sustainability reporting (e.g., SECR).
* Maintain thresholds checklist for financial reporting.
* Perform ad hoc financial analysis and investigative tasks.
* Support the Group Statutory Reporting Manager and Financial Controller/Director as needed.
Skills and Knowledge
* Part-qualified (finalist) with ACCA / ACA / CIMA.
* Knowledge of external audit and practice experience preferred.
* Proficient in MS Office and IT packages, especially Excel.
* Experience with financial systems like FCCS, multi-currency, IFRS, and UK GAAP is desirable.
* Background in recruitment or similar industry advantageous.
