Financial Operations
* Oversee rent collection, credit control, and payment processing across both commercial and residential portfolios.
* Oversee accounts payable and receivable, manage petty cash, and track business expenses.
* Maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software.
Reporting & Reconciliation
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and manage inter-company accounts.
* Support the preparation of month-end and year-end financial reporting.
* Prepare and manage service charge accounts, including budgeting, reconciliation, and reporting.
Process & Compliance
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness across all financial processes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service charge management.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate for this role with demonstrate the following:
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role.
* Proficiency in Xero accounting software.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients.
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Characteristics
* Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
* Confident communicator with strong presentation abilities.
* Proven team leadership and people development experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
