About the role – Behaviour Mentor I am working with this outstanding secondary school based in Newham who are looking to appoint a behaviour mentor to join them. The successful behaviour mentor will be responsible for delivering 1:1, paired and small group with students with challenging behaviour. The school are looking for an individual who can maintain a physically safe environment whilst following risk assessments as appropriate. The main focus for the successful behaviour mentor will be to act as a positive role model for the students in Years 7 – 11. About the school – Behaviour Mentor This multi-ethnic and multi-cultural, secondary school based in Newham support a total of 814 students aged 11 to 16. With the school newly opened in January 2018, there is continuous growth with a curriculum that suits the needs of each individual with high levels of challenge. The school has a provision for 25 pupils with profound, severe, and multiple learning difficulties which is supported by a specialist PMLD team of teachers and support staff.
