We are seeking an experienced Pre-Operative Assessment Nurse (RGN) to join a modern, purpose-built day case hospital in Milton Keynes. The hospital provides high-quality care for NHS, insured and self-paying patients, with a strong focus on orthopaedic procedures. You will play a key role in preparing patients for surgery, ensuring safe and effective pre-assessment in line with clinical guidelines. This includes conducting thorough patient assessments, reviewing medical histories, coordinating diagnostic investigations, and working closely with consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team to optimise patient care prior to admission.
