Join to apply for the CYPS Occupational Therapist role at Saarthy Travel Solutions.
Join our dedicated CYPS team supporting children and young people (0-18 years) across mental health, physical health, and learning disabilities. Our service operates in Gloucestershire, working closely with families, schools, and multi-agency partners.
Responsibilities
 * Manage a specialist clinical caseload with support from senior staff.
 * Deliver assessments and treatment programmes for children with diverse physical healthcare needs.
 * Work across community, home, school, nursery, and hospital settings, using both face-to-face and digital interventions (Attend Anywhere).
 * Develop independent practice and consolidate clinical experience through ongoing professional development.
 * Provide a range of health care based assessment and treatment interventions for children and young people (0-18 yrs) and their families/carers within the designated team.
 * Provide a holistic clinical/health assessment and delivery intervention programmes; care planning will utilise a range of treatments in home, community and school settings.
 * Operate with a personalised and coproduction approach when working with families, parents and carers; consider safeguarding needs and take action where required.
 * Undertake comprehensive assessment/formulation of children and young people (including diagnostic assessment where required), using clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
 * Maintain professional standards and participate in continuing professional development (CPD) activities, reflective practice, and ongoing learning.
 * Contribute to quality improvement, audit, and evaluation of clinical services and outcomes.
Requirements / Qualifications
 * Current valid Driving Licence is essential for this post.
 * Experience as a Band 5 Occupational Therapist or equivalent, with supervision and development opportunities.
 * Ability to work across multiple settings with a trauma-informed approach; knowledge of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) is desirable.
 * Demonstrated clinical reasoning and the ability to articulate rationale behind clinical decisions.
