Offer description

We are seeking to appoint 3 senior audiologists to join our busy and friendly team. We have 1 permanent post available, and 2 fixed term posts for 7 months for 37.5 hours per week, which may include occasional additional Saturday working to cover ENT clinics.

You will be a well‑motivated, enthusiastic qualified audiologist. We are an innovative department, providing a comprehensive audiology service. You will join a highly motivated team, committed to providing a high quality service.


Key Responsibilities

Main duties will be in the rehabilitation of adults with hearing difficulties, on both complex and routine pathways.

* Provide excellent communication skills and find creative, effective solutions for patients with a variety of hearing problems.
* Work independently as a competent practitioner in the main department, on domiciliary visits, and at satellite clinics.
* Develop specialist expertise in some of our complex clinics, with training provided.
* Opportunity for paediatric work, depending on experience.
* Contribute to training junior staff, PTP and STP trainees.


Qualifications and Experience

* At least a BSc in Audiology or equivalent.
* Already gained experience in a clinical setting.
* RCCP registration or equivalent is essential.
