THE OPPORTUNITY Advising on a broad range of non-contentious construction matters across high-profile real estate and development-led projects. Working on large-scale urban regeneration, mixed-use and residential-led schemes including BTR and PBSA developments. Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties and related documentation. Supporting on project structuring including joint ventures, forward funding arrangements and procurement strategies. Collaborating closely with real estate, finance and planning teams on complex, multi-disciplinary transactions. Building direct relationships with a high-calibre client base including developers, investors and public authorities. Gaining exposure to Manchester-based, city-shaping developments as well as significant national projects. Taking on increasing responsibility with clear scope to develop your profile within a growing and well-regarded team. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 5-6 years’ PQE with a strong background in non-contentious construction law. Experience gained at a recognised regional, national or international firm. Strong technical ability in drafting and negotiating construction documentation. Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in development-led work. Confident communicator, comfortable engaging directly with clients and stakeholders. A collaborative team player who thrives in a high-performing environment.
