The Role
This newly created position is a critical hire as the organization enters its next phase of strategic growth. The Business Development Manager will define a clear sales strategy to strengthen the company's position within the social housing market and access new framework opportunities in sectors such as education, local authorities, prisons, and retail.
The successful candidate will identify and secure new business opportunities by building and managing a robust sales pipeline, proactively engaging with new and existing clients, and developing tailored solutions that deliver long-term value for both the business and its customers.
The role requires a dynamic, driven individual with a commercial mindset and a proven track record in sales or business development, ideally within construction, building, or facilities management sectors. A strong understanding of framework agreements, public sector procurement, and stakeholder engagement is essential, along with effective communication skills at all levels to influence decision-makers.
