Hours: full time (40 hours/week)
Shifts: four 10-hour shifts per week (7:30am – 5:30pm), includes alternate weekends

Here at our beautiful, purpose built care home, we provide a household model of care, and mealtimes are always a highlight of the day.
Overview: We are looking to welcome an energetic chef with big ideas and an understanding of special dietary needs. You’ll have care-home experience to understand special diets, and you’ll be supported in your role by a head chef on site. You’ll work with residents and managers to design and tailor food that provides an excellent nutritional balance, while providing a hospitality experience you can be proud of. We are a growing company and will support you to build a career in this growing, exciting sector. The home is a seven-day business with flexible hours and a good work-life balance.
Responsibilities
* Design and prepare meals that meet residents\' nutritional needs and dietary requirements.
* Collaborate with residents and managers to tailor menus and dishes.
* Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
* Work with and be supported by the head chef on site and join the care-home team.
* Provide a hospitality-focused dining experience for residents and staff.
Qualifications
* Experience in a care-home or healthcare food service environment preferred.
* Understanding of special dietary needs and nutritional balance.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
