About Rainbows Children’s Hospice
We provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 Babies, Children, and Young People with life-limiting conditions, and support approximately 3,000 families, siblings, and carers across the East Midlands. Our services are delivered at the hospice, in hospitals, and at home, aiming to brighten short lives and support families wherever they are.
Job Role
We are seeking a Data Analyst to analyze and report organizational activity by extracting and interpreting data from systems including SystmOne, ThankQ CRM, and Power BI. The role is primarily based at the hospice in Loughborough, with occasional hybrid working opportunities. The standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
1. Extract, cleanse, and validate data from internal systems.
2. Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
3. Provide accurate reports to support planning, monitoring, and compliance.
4. Collaborate with teams to understand and meet reporting needs.
5. Identify and resolve data quality issues.
6. Analyze data to produce insights and strategic recommendations.
7. Ensure reports meet stakeholder and statutory requirements.
8. Support data governance and confidentiality principles.
Requirements
1. Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in data analysis or reporting roles.
3. Experience with healthcare and CRM systems.
4. Proficiency in Power BI and SQL.
5. Knowledge of SystmOne and ThankQ CRM or similar platforms.
6. Ability to analyze and present complex data clearly.
7. Enthusiasm for improving patient care through data.
8. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
