Role Overview
This position sits within the Construction Team, supporting fee earners at Senior Associate level. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Secretarial Support Manager and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diary and email management, travel coordination, and handling telephone enquiries
* Managing workflow to internal support teams (Document Centre, Print Room)
* Amending and formatting legal documents and agreements
* Copy-typing and digital dictation
* Indexing legal documentation and setting up files
* Processing expenses using Chrome River
* Liaising with BD, Marketing, Events, and Finance teams on team-specific tasks
Candidate Profile
You’re a proactive Legal Secretary with strong organisational skills and a confident, professional approach. You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of clear communication with fee earners and support teams.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience in a law firm or professional services environment
* High levels of IT literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
* Superb attention to detail and a proactive, enthusiastic attitude
* Willingness to embrace AI-powered tools and smarter ways of working
