A former country estate, The Langley is a luxury hotel and spa that had opened in early 2019, in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside. As sister hotel to The Wellesley Knightsbridge, Londons finest boutique-grand hotel, it offers the same level of luxury and exclusivity but with its own unique character and setting.

The hotels boutique selection of 41 exquisite rooms and suites were designed by Dennis Irvine Studio with the height of sophistication and refinement, alongside a collection of exclusive dining experiences, including a signature restaurant with an acclaimed chef at the helm and an intimate bar specializing in the finest cognacs and cigars.

The Opportunity

Step into a career defining role asHotel Receptionistwith our Front Office team. You'll be the first point of contact for discerning guests, creating memorable first impressions while delivering the impeccable service standards that define luxury hospitality.

Hotel Receptionist primary duties and responsibilities will include:

* Welcome guests with genuine warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for their entire stay
* Handle all guest interactions with discretion and attention to detail, whether in person or by telephone
* Manage seamless check-ins, check-outs, and respond to guest inquiries with expertise
* Serve as the primary liaison for guest requests and ensure swift resolution
* Execute front desk operations with precision and efficiency
* Manage cash handling and financial transactions accurately
* Coordinate with all hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
* Maintain detailed guest records and handle administrative duties
* Utilise hotel IT/technology systems effectively
* To undertake all training as required (e.g. first aid, health and safety, customer service)

What Were Looking For:

* Proven experience as a hotel receptionist in a 5-star luxury property
* Proficiency with Opera Property Management System (ESSENTIAL)
* Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal)
* UK work eligibility (documentation required)
* Natural ability to multitask during high pressure periods
* Collaborative team player with outstanding people skills
* Meticulous attention to detail and genuine hospitality instincts
* Flexibility for rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
* Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences

Please Note: This role requires specific front office/reception experience in luxury hospitality. Candidates without direct hotel reception experience should not apply as applications will not be considered.
