Job Title
Business Development Manager Pre-hospital
Overview
In late January, Bridgefield Capital announced that it signed an agreement to acquire Philips’ Emergency Care business, which includes HeartStart AEDs, Intrepid and DFM100 monitor defibrillators, Tempus monitor and Tempus ALS systems, and Corsium and ECI informatics solutions. The transaction is expected to close at the end of 2025. With Bridgefield’s support and building on our 40+ year legacy of growth and innovation in emergency medical technology, the Emergency Care business will continue pursuing our mission of saving lives, lowering the cost of healthcare, and advancing the science of resuscitation while serving the public access AED, EMS, military, and hospital market segments. In this role and as part of an agile company with dedicated resources, you’ll have the opportunity to become part of the “NewCo” we are forming and grow both personally and professionally and potentially make an even bigger impact on the acute care space – as well as on the consumers, patients and healthcare workers who depend on these life-saving solutions.
Responsibilities
* As Business Development Manager for EC Pro you will have the opportunity to introduce our groundbreaking advanced life support solutions to Pre-Hospital/Ambulatory customers, enhancing the level of care that they can provide to their patients.
* By listening to the needs of new and existing customers you will develop a bespoke solution that meets their requirements and contributes to the growth of EC Pro in the European market.
* You will be responsible for the commercial strategy of the product portfolio/roadmap and success will be measured through effective Go-To-Market plans, commercial offerings based on market insights, and a solid business & marketing plan.
* This role offers you the chance to work from home. Applicants will preferably live close to an airport in the UK or Netherlands to enable easy travel to customers across Europe. Flexibility to travel (up to 50%) and stay away from home will be needed for this role.
* Be sure to ask your Talent Partner about the compensation and benefits on offer.
Qualifications
* You have previous experience selling medical devices (ideally monitoring/defibrillators) into the pre-hospital/ambulatory sector or have commercial sales experience in that sector.
* You are commercially savvy and understand sales, negotiation, and finance processes.
* You consider yourself a hunter who enjoys developing new business from scratch.
* An IT awareness (software/hardware/connectivity) would help you understand the solutions' technical complexities.
* Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Spanish and French is an advantage.
* You’re an excellent communicator able to build rapport and develop key stakeholder relationships easily.
