Roles and Respnsibilities:
* Adjust machine parameters to achieve precision cutting and shaping according to specifications.
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Conduct quality inspections to verify accuracy, consistency, and compliance with manufacturing standards.
* Troubleshoot minor issues with the machine and escalate complex problems to the maintenance team.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other team members to improve efficiency and workflow.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
* Recognised time:served apprenticeship/modern apprenticeship within a Mechanical
* Engineering discipline, along with either NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
* Previous experience operating CNC machines, preferably in a metal fabrication environment.
* Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine setup
* Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
