A leading management consultancy is seeking a Cash & Working Capital Director to join its value creation practice. This is a senior appointment for an experienced consulting leader with a track record of delivering measurable cash, working capital, and enterprise value improvements across complex client environments.
The role requires a commercial individual who can lead client delivery, shape strategy, and support business development. The ideal candidate will have deep consulting experience and credibility working with private equity, PE-backed, global listed, and founder-led businesses
Role focus
- Lead and deliver cash and working capital improvement programmes from diagnostic through to implementation
- Identify and prioritise value creation opportunities, translating analysis into practical action plans
- Support clients in improving liquidity, cash conversion, and operational performance
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including investors, management teams, and C-suite leaders
Candidate profile
- Significant consulting experience is essential, ideally gained in a management consulting, advisory, or transformation environment
- Proven track record in cash and working capital optimisation, with hands-on delivery of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Inventory Optimisation initiatives
- Strong value creation background, with exposure to private equity, PE-backed, global listed, and founder-led businesses
- Excellent business development capability, including lead generation, proposal development, and project expansion.
- Strong executive presence, commercial judgement, and the ability to influence at board and investor level.
