Overview
Up to £53,835 plus a comprehensive benefits package. As a teacher at Witherslack Group you will work with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Your role will help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self‑esteem. You will be supported by in‑house psychologists, teaching assistants and therapy professionals in a well‑resourced environment.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver curriculum for children with ASD/SEMH.
* Support pupils’ development of abilities to improve confidence and self‑esteem.
* Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists and colleagues to provide holistic support.
* Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and adapt lessons accordingly.
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Previous teaching experience, ideally with pupils with SEND.
* Resilience and enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners.
* Good communication and team‑working skills.
