Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 per annum (DOE)

A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy with nearly 40 years of experience and a strong presence in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geo-Environmental Services, Transport Planning. Now strengthening our footprint in the Midlands with strategic investment into our Birmingham office.
Your Role
As an Associate Civil Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in both project delivery and strategic development.
 * Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
 * Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact
 * Oversee the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, particularly in the residential and commercial sector
 * Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and calculations
 * Ensure compliance with Section Agreements 278, 38, 185, and 104
 * Drive project progress, manage budgets, and ensure high-quality outcomes
 * Support business development initiatives and identify new opportunities
 * Collaborate closely with senior leadership to expand our Civil Engineering capability in Birmingham
What You’ll Need
 * Strong background in infrastructure design, especially for residential developments
 * Proven client‑facing experience and commercial awareness
 * Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and WinDes (or equivalents)
 * Natural leadership skills with experience in team supervision or mentoring
 * Excellent communication and organisational abilities
