What you'll do: Oversee and verify compliance with Health & Safety regulations across all departments Prepare and regularly review risk assessments and safe systems of work Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures Attend monthly meetings and present relevant Health & Safety data Assist on investigations of incidents, and near misses; compile reports and suggest corrective actions Ensure all health and safety documentation is up to date, including policies, procedures, and audit records Maintain records of safety-related incidents and produce statistics for management Support the development and implementation of emergency procedures and evacuation plans Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practice What you need to succeed: A degree in Environmental Health and Safety preferred OR a degree and 2 years relevant experience OR 5 years relevant experience. Experience within a similar H&S role Understanding of HSE legislation and regulations Experience with RAMS, auditing, reporting Good communication skills IT and numeracy skills (MS Office) Desirable Criteria IOSH Membership Relevant Health and Safety qualifications (NEBOSH) preferred Additional H&S certifications preferred Full clean driving license EOS is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
