Our Rolleston dealership is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Technician to join our team. You’ll be a senior member of the team, servicing a wide range of premium brand John Deere machinery and providing exceptional service to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
* Complete servicing/repairs on all machinery efficiently and effectively
* Assemble and conduct checks on new machinery ensuring readiness for delivery
* Enjoy a varied work environment out in the field and in our modern workshop
* Support other technicians by sharing your vast knowledge across a range of Ag and Construction & Forestry equipment
* Complete all necessary paperwork effectively and efficiently
* Maintain and upskill your knowledge of new machinery, technical skills and servicing techniques, with our support
* Demonstrate exceptional customer service while representing and promoting the business positively
* Be available for an on-call roster, for after-hours callouts or urgent work as required.
Qualifications
* Substantial experience servicing, diagnosing and repairing agricultural and/or construction and forestry machinery
* Relevant qualification as a heavy diesel mechanic
* Proven diagnostic skills with a knack for problem-solving
* Proficient ability to use various IT solutions and diagnostic tools in daily activities
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* The right attitude, taking ownership of your work, supporting customers and contributing to growing the business.

Rates/Hours of work
Base hourly rates from: $35.00- $44.00, plus generous tool allowance and overtime rates.
Minimum of 40 hours per week.
