GTCS
Registration with the GTCS is required, including paying any applicable fees. Teachers in their probationary year can apply for temporary, un-promoted roles, paid at the probationer rate of £31,584 per year (pro-rata if applicable).
RC Approval
For teaching in Catholic schools, approval from the Roman Catholic Church is required, in line with Section 21 (A) of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980. Forms are available at: https://sces.org.uk/church-approval/
