Lifeline Services have been providing award winning support to the residents of Darlington since 1989 and the equipment that we provide gives the user and their support network the reassurance needed to enable them to live safely and independently in their own homes. The response team is based at our Town Hall and the integral duties of a Lifeline Response officer are the demonstration, installation and monitoring of various technology alongside responding to emergency calls as necessary. Our officers must be of a calm and caring nature and be able to think dynamically, in a fast paced, busy environment. You will need to be confident in the use of databases and Microsoft office packages with a good understanding of GDPR to meet with the administrative duties of the role You will need to be approachable with a and39;can doand39; attitude and amongst other valuable skills be encouraging, organised, flexible and have the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately to a broad range of audiences.andnbsp;andnbsp; It would be an advantage to have a strong background of working in a customer facing role with experience of working with older and more vulnerable people. You would be based at the Town Hall Monday to Friday working across a rota that includes a 07:30-15:45 shift but predominantly working 08:30-17:00 (16:30 on a Friday) There is a requirement to work on a bank holiday rota and theandnbsp;successful applicant must have a flexible approach to our 365/24/7 shift system. This role requires an Enhanced DBS check which is applied for by Darlington Borough Council.
