Overview
In this position you will help in preventing problems with health and well-being, promoting healthy living and working conditions, assessing and managing workplace risks, and health screening.
Responsibilities
* Pre placement screening
* Needle stick management, immunisations and venepuncture
* Involvement in the duty nurse which is available daily for support and help
* As clients' needs require you may also be required to carry out audiometry, eye tests, urine samples, lung function tests and drug tests
* Support staff to achieve career goals; contribute to the Staff Health and Wellbeing programme and related services
* Support the digital transformation initiatives, including partnership with Epic EPR, to improve systems for staff and patients
Requirements
* Be a Registered Nurse
* Valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle; role involves regular travel across ESNEFT sites and to external customer premises
* Occupational Health or Practice Nurse experience is beneficial but not essential; full training provided
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work confidently and collaboratively across professional boundaries
* Knowledge and experience of using an IT information management system for record keeping
