Job Advertisement: Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) – Mainstream College, Bexley
A welcoming mainstream college in Bexley is seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their team, supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) as they study a range of vocational subjects.
Location: Bexley
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: £13.69 per hour (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time, term time only
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to SEND students across vocational courses
* Encourage independence and engagement in practical and classroom-based learning
* Work closely with teaching staff to implement learning strategies and support plans
* Promote an inclusive and positive learning environment
About You / Qualifications
* Experience working with SEND students (college or school setting)
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable in your approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passionate about helping young people reach their full potential
