Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health Supported Living Service. This role involves working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges to promote independence, recovery, and overall wellbeing. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering person-centred care in community-based settings.
Duties
* Conduct holistic assessments of service users' functional abilities and mental health needs.
* Develop and implement person-centred care plans to support recovery and daily living skills.
* Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and activities.
* Collaborate with the management team, support workers, nurses, social workers, and external agencies.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
* Identify and manage risks, following safeguarding protocols.
* Provide training and supervision to support staff and OT students
Qualifications & Requirements
* Degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc/MSc).
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Experience or strong interest in mental health and community-based practice.
* Knowledge of recovery models, trauma-informed care, and supported living frameworks (desirable).
* Familiarity with risk assessment tools and mental health legislation (desirable).

Pay: £29,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
