This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a talented and committed team of subject specialists. We are looking for an excellent teacher who can contribute to the teaching of one or more social science subjects, including; RE, sociology, psychology, law, philosophy or government and politics. Kesgrave High School is a large 11-19 school that has over 1850 students on roll, including over 320 students in the Sixth Form where these subjects have a strong track record. The departments are particularly well-resourced. There are dedicated teaching rooms in grouped subject clusters including in the Sixth Form building, which has networked computer facilities to enable innovative teaching. There is also a wide range of resources for GCSE, BTEC and A level teaching including up-to-date textbooks, journals and software to help with the successful delivery of the courses. The psychology, RE and sociology departments are a dynamic part of the school and you should be able to work as part of a team and contribute enthusiasm and new ideas.
