Description
We are looking for a
Hydraulics Technician
to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high-performance Formula One Team, supporting the build, service and maintenance of hydraulic components critical to car performance. In this role you will play a key role in delivering race-winning reliability and precision across our F1 programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for the assembly, service, and repair of all Hydraulic Components within the Build department.
* Work to the highest standards and in accordance with the specifications, to ensure delivery, performance and reliability targets are met efficiently and on time.
* Maintain accurate build documentation and records.
* Interpreting technical drawings and follow build instructions.
* To provide end to end support for the Race Team, F1 Evolution, and all AMR Future Projects to ensure all assemblies are available on time and as design intention.
* Support testing activities on dynos, rigs, and at events as needed.
* Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
* Participate in CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives within the hydraulics department.
* To carry out general maintenance on all rigs and equipment needed in the servicing and testing of these assemblies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Proven experience in a Formula One or high-level motorsport environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of F1 hydraulic systems and build methodologies.
* Able to interpret engineering drawings and work to tight specifications.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong computer literacy and familiarity with business systems.
* Flexible approach to working hours.
