RightNow Group is excited to announce a new hybrid opportunity with a distinguished global client seeking to hire a Health and Safety Compliance Coordinator. This part-time position, requiring 25-30 hours per week, has been newly established to enhance our clients operation.

In this crucial role, you will enjoy a diverse range of responsibilities and the autonomy to implement your own solutions. The client is committed to empowering you to make a meaningful impact, with your efforts playing a key role in elevating facilities standards, ensuring compliance, and promoting health and safety initiatives.

Candidates with experience in managing or implementing GDPR, handling confidential data, or overseeing compliance and health and safety policies will be highly regarded. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the organisations success while working in a flexible environment.

Job Title: Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator
Location: Stoke- on- Trent
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent, Hybrid
Hours: (25-30 hours per week)
Salary: To be disclosed by the recruiter
Reporting to: Facilities Manager & Operations Manager

Please note: Occasional travel between sites will be required, driving would be the easiest mode of travel.

Health, Safety and Compliance Coordinator responsibilities

* Develop and implement HS policies and procedures to meet legal requirements and industry best practices.
* Educate staff on safety protocols and best practices.
* Responsible for general administration, facilities coordination and GDPR guidance
* Oversee the planned and responsive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and site infrastructure.
* Supervise and coordinate external contractors for maintenance, cleaning, security, and other services.
* Manage soft services like cleaning and waste, and hard services like utilities and security systems.
* Ensure regular maintenance and proper functioning of systems like fire alarms, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and security cameras.

Desirable:

* Relevant Health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH) and/or experience in facilities management or compliance.
* Familiarity with standards like ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, and knowledge of relevant legislation. (Not essential)
* Strong organisational, communication (verbal and written) and problem-solving skills are essential.
* The ability to proactively identify needs, implement solutions and improve H&S culture.

Please note: if you do not have relevant ISO or NEBOSH qualifications or require refreshers, our client is willing to support in training and development.
