Overview
Protec is a fast-paced engineering business, and we’re looking for an Office Coordinator to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll be at the heart of the operation, supporting different departments and making sure the office stays on top of its game. This isn’t a role for someone who wants a quiet life; every day is different, and you’ll need to be comfortable juggling priorities, handling demands, and keeping your sense of humour along the way.

Location: Leamington Spa
Salary: Up to £32,000
What You’ll Be Doing
* Acting as the first point of contact across departments, supporting a wide range of office and project activities
* Coordinating diaries, meetings and deadlines in a busy engineering office
* Handling day-to-day administration including reports, purchase orders, and document control
* Using Excel at an advanced level to track, analyse and manage key business processes (the office is run on it!)
* Helping to streamline office systems and improve efficiencies where possible
* Keeping communication flowing between teams and ensuring nothing gets missed
What We’re Looking For
* Strong background in office coordination, administration, or a similar role
* Excellent Excel skills: pivot tables, lookups, reporting, and confident with complex spreadsheets
* A confident personality with good banter able to work well with people at all levels
* Resilient and calm under pressure, able to handle stressy moments and competing demands
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
