We are seeking an strong Administrator to join our team in the Bond based at Glasgow Airport.
What’s the purpose of role:
This role will be responsible for providing administration support for our catering unit in Glasgow, ensuring the delivery of service and compliance in line with company, legal and airline standards. This role will need to be able to communicate across all departments and at varying levels within the site. Responsible for completing day to day admin duties, collating management information relevant to the department dealing with query’s and ensuring effective communication with the team.
Who you’ll deal with:
Internal: Shift Leader, Team Manager, Function Manager, colleagues
External: Customers, Suppliers
What you’ll be doing:
* Answering door – signing in contractors / visitors – escorting when necessary
* Answering phone
* Receipting of GR deliveries on SAP MM – daily
* Process wastage – coding and processing on SAP MM – daily
* Bulk roster uploading to Workday - monthly
* Variable creation, receipting, checking against variable tracker, gaining approval before creation as per DAM – as and when required
* Adding new colleagues onto payroll clock in system- as and when required
* Adding new colleagues onto pass system – as and when required
* Ordering of stationary ,staff uniforms, small equipment – as and when required
* Creating of stock sheets and inputting stock – end of month
* Locker allocation – as and when required
* Supporting seasonal interview process – as and when required
* Taking meeting notes – H&S, Employee Council etc – as and when required
* Arranging unit maintenance upon approval
* Creation of a monthly colleague newsletter
* Maintaining digital and paper records including archiving

What you’ll have:
Essential:
1. Previous experience in an administrative role
2. Excellent PC skills to include PowerPoint, Excel and Word
3. Evidence of good interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
4. Attention to detail and an eye for accuracy
5. Ability to plan, organise
Desirable:
1. Background in the Food Industry or process area in which the role will work
2. Previous experience of minute taking
