The Role
As a Cost Analyst, you will support the costing function by analysing and maintaining cost data across materials, labour, tooling and overheads. You will play a key role in supporting new product quotations, cost comparisons and value engineering initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with cost calculations and analysis
* Support preparation of cost breakdowns for new product quotations
* Analyse material, labour, tooling and overhead costs
* Maintain and update costing spreadsheets, databases and internal systems
* Compare estimated versus actual production costs and highlight variances
* Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives
* Provide target costing data to Product Development teams
* Liaise with Procurement to obtain supplier pricing and cost data
* Assist in preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders
* Contribute to continuous improvement activities focused on cost control and efficiency
What Were Looking For
* Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (preferred)
* Understanding of costing, finance or data analysis principles
* Interest in manufacturing environments and product costing (e.g. BOMs, inventory)
* Strong Excel skills and ability to work with data sets
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and present insights
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
