My client, an industry leading civil engineering firm are looking for an experienced Civil's Construction CRE to join their expanding team in Wakefield. Candidate Responsibilities: Ensure all civil engineering work complies with Network Rail standards, Eurocodes, and relevant legislation (such as the CDM Regulations 2015). Reviewing the design for buildability and ensuring the site team understands the design intent. Manage and resolve technical queries between the site team and the designer when site conditions differ from the plan. Review and sign off on WPPs and Task Briefing Sheets (TBS) to ensure the engineering methodology is safe and effective. Review and approve ITPs, ensuring that all necessary checks and "Hold Points" are identified and signed off during construction. Coordinate with the Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) to ensure that temporary structures (like scaffolding or cofferdams) do not compromise the permanent works or rail safety. Carry out regular site visits to verify that work is being delivered according to the approved drawings and specifications. Identify, record, and resolve any non-conformances in the civil works.
