Job Description:
Our client is an award-winning leader in infection prevention, clinical waste management, and surgical solutions to healthcare facilities across the globe. Due to their significant growth, they are looking for a Key Account Manager to strengthen the position of the business in the Irish Market and UK Long Term Care Accounts by supporting distributors through strategic initiatives and cross selling activities and day-to-day key account support.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a national business plan for Ireland with focus markets and product ranges by distributor to drive retention and growth aligned with B2B and VCI strategic focuses.
* Segment accounts to provide an elevated level of key account management to strategic accounts, involving senior leadership and stakeholders as needed.
* Achieve sales & margin objectives.
* Work closely with B2B colleagues and marketing to identify and develop accounts beyond potential and communicate crossover opportunities.
* Meet individual KPIs.
* Establish and manage relationships with key customers, professionals, and stakeholders to grow the business with new and existing customers.
* Apply specialist product knowledge and skills to ensure effective selling and communicate key messages, providing solutions.
* Comply with policies, procedures, and standards.
* Demonstrate the company’s core values consistently.
* Coordinate closely with Customer Services and UK Commercial teams.
Candidate criteria:
* Management and experience in the Irish Healthcare Market is desirable.
* B2B Sales, Key Account Management experience, or medical training within healthcare industry.
